Give Good / 10 Gift Ideas for Him
We’re not always lucky enough to get hints dropped every Christmas from our sweetheart that makes the shopping a breeze. You can do your research, ask friends and family for ideas or you can just finish this damn article. I may not know all but I do know the following are just about my favourite things in my home that I’d be stoked to receive any day or better yet, would be willing to put my name on when giving.
ClarinsMen Hydration & Shaving Set
A must have for any dude of any age that likes to look & feel his best. A Super Mositure Balm with seseame oil to recover the skin from the cold weather, a 2-in-1 Shampoo and Shower concoction for the hair and body designed to soothe and tone the skin with Bison Grass and Chinese Galanga and lastly, the Shave Ease Oil. A mixture of Rosemary, Eucalyptus and Mint soothes stubble to banish razor burn
Montblanc Legend Holiday Set
Santa baby, this a gotta have. I personally adore a fresh fougere scent and the hints in this fragrance nail it this one. Subtly fresh with complimentary notes of jasmine & white cedar and a strong masculine base with hints of sandalwood & oak moss. This set is exclusively available at Hudson’s Bay and 100% gift success for that special man.
Gry Mattr Everything
One of my favourite new brands, Gry Mattr is under the Staples umbrella and designed by Club Monaco founder Joe Mimran. From portfolios, to to candles, eyewear, notebooks, speakers, diffusers and more. Have a bunch scattered through my home & would gladly welcome home. Price point is incredible to boot.
I can’t stress this any louder, every man needs this shaver and they DO NOT need another. From a close shave to scruff to line ups, cut outs and even quick head hair touch ups. Simple, light and affordable.
Another of my favourite new brands, and f*ck do I want one of these babies bad. Love every inch of this jacket & every good man deserves one in my opinion. A premium puffer that is reliably warm and that looks good with everything is priceless for every stylish man’s closet. Trust me.
Adidas Swift Run
Think Ultra Boost at less than 1/3 of the price. Yes I primarily wear Nikes but these are one of the comfiest and easy to style sneakers I own and I own many. Giving the gift of sneakers is always a good call and these fresh white kicks will make any guy happy.
This is my new baby at Loft 109 and I’ll be talking a lot about in the future. I’ve been very lucky to work with Philips a bunch because everything I get my hands on end up being staples. I’ve had a dozen coffee machines and this is one is essentially flawless. Zero pods, bean grinder built in, no hassle frothing & amazing coffee every time. Buy one for Dad and one for yourself.
Dr. Marten’s Boots
Big fan of these new Chelsea boots from Doc. So much so that I just got a pair for myself this week. I’m all about must-have pieces and these fit the bill being so easy to style and pair with different looks. A man needs a comfy pair of boots that crush it outside and look sharp while doing it. These will do the trick.
Victorinox Carving Set
A modern and “sharp” looking set for any man’s kitchen. Perfect for carving the holiday turkey or any roast on any night alone or hosting.
